Our journey started in 2014 when we founded our own architectural firm. Green Dot Architects was created after many years of extensive experimenting with creativity, design, art, architecture, and construction. We have one purpose, to assist our clients in envisioning what they have in mind and making those dreams a reality. Our clients voice their narratives, and we listen while creating our own unique and exceptional version of each project.

The projects begin with a conceptual design in which we consider the relationships between the design’s various components. The primary objective of this stage is to arrive at a clearly defined, feasible concept. In the schematic design phase, we work consistently with our clients, and discuss the certain requirements necessary during the process of creating a design. At this stage, digital 3D models and illustrations are prepared to help with visualizing the project.

The project proceeds to the design development phase when the client approves the schematic design. In this phase, detailed drawings are prepared while we work together to select the necessary materials as well as organize mechanical, electrical and structural consultation. Once the drawings are prepared and finalized, we work with various city planners to obtain the required approval. The groundwork done includes the preparation of drawings for the city approval, applications for the Committee of Adjustment, obtaining a Zoning certificate along with site plan approval and building permits.

At Green Dot Architects, we offer contemporary designs for private residences, multi-unit residential, and commercial buildings. Our firm is also LEED accredited in sustainability; being mindful of our environment is vital in our firm.
